Supportive Counseling
It is always nice to find a place where we can connect with others. It is also important to have someone we can talk with, share our concerns with, someone who is there for us….SOMEONE we can trust. Life brings with it many ups and downs. When we are helped to understand our emotions, we are empowered to make healthier decisions. SNAP of Eastern Queens provides Supportive Counseling for older adults. Speaking with one of our Social Workers is the first step in a journey you don’t have to take alone.

SNAP can help you be 60 and better. Ask yourself:
- Do you need help stretching your dollar?
- Have the medications you take changed the types of foods you are able to eat?
- Are you paying more than the allowable percent of your income for rent?
- Is the cost of heating your home becoming too difficult?
- Are you the victim of crime, fraud, or abuse?
If you answered YES to any of the above questions, please call Theresa Richardson at SNAP Eastern Queens at (718) 454-2100 or Andrea Dronca at SNAP Brookville at (718) 525-8899. ALL conversations are kept confidential.
Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
